Cute hAnglar Baby + 3 Challenges

Good Evening
This card has had my head round bends and inside out this week. I wanted a non too fussy card, plain and simple, yet I could not for the life of me achieve it. So this will have to do...

Plain white card stock which is hammered or linen
Image is a hAnglar & stAnglar from the baby collection (too cute!)
Coloured with Copics and added some laced ribbon and plain white ribbon underneath.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft, the flower with the hint of Pink is from Ladybug and Friends
I've spritzed the card completely with Pearl Glamour mist for a shiny effect.
The Butterflies are from using MS Butterfly and the MS Butterfly Border punches.

I am entering this card into a few challenges
Creative Card Crew: Blooming Marvellous (I've added a BIG bunch of flowers for those pretty butterflies to live on ha ha!)
Colour Create Challenge: All White (optional extra of Embossing) Well the cards White all right - no colour bar the wee bit of pink on the flower and the image :o) I have embossed, but only around the die cuts.
All-sorts Challenge: Plain and Simple - Well I think I've achieved this and can tick the box - Its not a fussy card really!

I'll wish you all now a very happy weekend
Hope you get lots of family time with a sprinkling of crafting time too!

Thank you for stopping by, please leave a comment so I can come and visit you!

Guest Designing for Copic Colour Challenge Today!

A little while ago, the Copic Colour Challenge Team, were looking for Guest Designers so I put my name down and here I am :D

I was meant to do a card in September but had to defer due to a bereavement :(

This weeks challenge is sponsored by Stamping Bella and Emily is offering $20 to spend on Stamping Bella products - How cool is that!!

But I'm here now and have had fun using these colours, they just scream Christmas at me!!

I bought and downloaded this cute CC Design called Nora the other day - She is one of the new November Releases! Isn't she sweet!

I obviously coloured her with copics, adding in a few other colours along the way for the shadowing and her hair.

I added some Glamour Mist for the snowflakes and around the bottoms of her boots, ooo and her sparkly wings too!

Just want to say thank you to the CCC Girls for asking me on board, and an extra thanks to Adele who's been emailing me when I've had any questions, and been very understanding of what happened in September when I lost my brother in a car accident - thanks hun! :)

Hope you can join in this week. Have fun and please, check out the CCC Design Team's work - I'm sure they've worked their socks off again this week!

Rosie the Witch says 'Hi!' to Stamp with Fun Challenge!

Good Morning.

I had a little play last night and have taken these photo's this morning with a very dodgy camera. As I have been away for a little while, I've not made any Design Cards for Irina over at La-La Land Crafts for the Guest Designer spot, so I've made this little Halloween card for Stamp with Fun, to try and get me back into the swing of things.

Its a lovely sketch this week which you will see I have turned on its side.

Well, Mr Mojo has gone walk about, so this was the best I could come up with last night. Witch on the Broom Rosie can be bought from La-La Land Crafts, as can her friends Lala and the animals, which have all got dressed up for the Halloween celebrations.

A little close up of Rosie - Coloured with Copics and highlighter with Inkssentials, I also added a streak of green to her hair to add a little more detail :D

Some more photos of the card. Including one of my new Head Pins with a bat on top - Cute huh?

The papers were sent to me by Irina in my Design package along with the stamps. The spotty paper however, is mine and came from BoBunny. The sentiment is from Penny Black along with the webs and spiders which I arranged around the 'Boo' and the corner web top right corner.

Before you go to leave a comment or shoot off to the next blog, I have some :

Good News!
Stampin' for the Weekend will be up and running again as of the 9th October!
See you then for more fun challenges!

Thank you for popping by !

La-La Lands Weekly Wednesday Challenge!!

Its week four at La-La Lands Weekly Wednesday Challenge blog and this week Kim Yu set us all the theme of Distressing.
So get your inks, sandpaper or scissors out and get distressing!!
I have picked my favourite Lala of the ones I have which is Fairy Lala. She is just a dream to colour! I have (for some strange reason) been drawn to purple recently and its not really one of my colours. I picked up a couple of shades of it and coloured her hair and I went from there.
I've coloured her with copics and added some sparkle to her wings and wand.
The papers I have used are Bearly Mine Designs - Designer Extreme Vols II and III, which have all been distressed by tearing and then inking with some copic inks. I then layered the printed papers onto Papermania Textured Card.
Here is another little view of her. The paper roses and pearl strands are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have inked the larger roses as they are plain cream.

Again this week, Irina is offering a 25% discount to the winner and a top three blinkie award to those who are selected the most by the Design Team and Guest Designers.

I am entering this card for Three challenges
- Stamp Something - which is to use your favorite stamp (an added bonus was to use die cut or punched shapes which I have not done)
- Friday Sketchers - A fabulous sketch by Heidi click here to see the sketch. I've also noticed that I've added flowers where there shouldnt be any - however, I saw that the Design Team had a but of freedom and have added flowers and embellies in corners and around the image. So hopefully, I've not done anything wrong - the sketch is still very much visable :D
Creative Card Crew - Have a Fairy Nice Day! (I've used Fairy Lala - So think this counts hehe)

I hope you have fun with the challenge, please remember to visit the Design Team's and the Guest Designers Blogs.

Before you go, I have a couple of images to show you from the Halloween Collection, which is now available from the La-La Land Crafts Store. From left to right we have Witch Lala, Whiskers with Pumpkin and Witch on the Broom Rosie...
Head on over to order yours so you get them in time to make all your Halloween Party Invite or just a Halloween card, there is so much choice, I'm sure you will find a favourite!
Happy Crafting!

Copic Colour Challenge #19

Over at Copic Colour Challenge this week, the colours are all nice and calming.
I decided that I would use my favorite Sugar Nellie from the Gorjuss Girl Set 2. She is so easy to colour and I love doing her hair! I have used all three colours in this weeks challenge and layered them a little to make them darker than a first brush coat.

I have used my new Papermania Signature papers called Blueberry Hill and some Core'dinations textured card stock in baby pink, sky blue and a very pale purple.
I added a flower from my stash and secured it with a pearl brad.
The sentiment is stamped I think the stamp is a Papermania one, but cant be sure!

Just below you can see my favorite Gorjuss Girl in a little more detail. Hopefully when you click on her, you will get a larger view.

I used the three shades needed for this challenge, then E00 and E51 for her skin, and C1 for the outline around her body. For her hair I used E29, E37 and E35 in that order from dark to light to shade. I then highlighted her with the White Opaque Inkssentials pen.

Thank you for looking Y

Copic Colour Challenge - 13

Over at Copic Colour Challenge , Us bloggers are given a little freedom with the colours we choose and a lovely Sketch by Maddy!

I bought this cute Doodle Dragon earlier this week from Dustin Pike -
Its a Digi Stamp and sooooooooooo CUTE!

I coloured him using my Copics - (of course) and used C1, V000, RV10, V12, YG06, G05 And Y17.

I used my card, flower and brad from my stash.
The sentiment is from the freebie from the Creativity Magazine from DoCrafts!

This is my OOoopsie -
it wasn't until I finished the card and realised when I picked it up to take photos that I'd stuck everything on the wrong way. Nevermind - I'm sure my friend won't mind too much!
Thanks for looking !

Copic Colour Challenge - #10

Over at Copic Colour Challenge the colours chosen for this week are :

I only have one of these colours and the closest I can get to B02 was B00 and B05, and the closest I could get to RV34 was RV29... However, I enjoyed using B39 and trying to get some shade to it! What a challenge! Here we have a Sugar Nellie stamp by Elizabeth Bell, called 'Flowers' bought from Funky Kits

I decided to use the dark for her Jeans/Trousers and her Hat, because everywhere I go I see these stamps coloured with light blue jeans or a completely different colour altogether. Soooo Dark Jeans it was today for this young lady!

I used my stars corner punch for the two corners, and mounted onto dark blue leatherette style card I had in my scrap box

The flowers and brad are from my stash and the dangly gem I made using an eye pin and spacer beads I bought from e-bay

The blue fibre was also in my scrap box and I have no idea where I bought it from, but I am pleased that I could use it!

The sentiment is from my Penny Black Salutations set

Other papers used are from the Once Upon a Time Mat Stack by DCWV

I'm not completely sure I like this card, what I am sure of is that I will find a good home for it to go to!

Y Thank you for stopping by Y
