Simon Says meets Stamp with Fun

Its been a crappy few months for me, made worse with having to face seeing in the New Year waiting for a scan on my Ovaries to see if I have a Cyst or something Nasty going on in that area!
To take my mind off this, I have attempted to finish these cards which I coloured images for the other night!
For all of the cards I've used My Minds Eye - Wonderland Winter 12x12 scrapbook papers

Embossed behind every image by masking and stamping the WoJ Winter Swirls and using Clear Embossing powder.

Card/Ribbons/Charms from Stash

Second Card

Used a green pigment ink pad for this embossing

Glossy Accents added to the pressie and hair ribbon

Third Card

Clear embossed this back ground, added glossy accents to the canes and the ribbon on the pressie

Thank you for popping by. I'm hoping to get some more finished that I started a couple of weeks ago, but haven't been able to face in a while!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Stampin' for the Weekend - DT Calendar!

Hello!
Sorry for being a bad blogger. My Mojo has GONE! I forced myself to colour in these new Magnolia Images from the Winter Kit the other night. My heart just was not in it, which has resulted in poor photos too!

This weeks challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend, we'd like to see a Calendar of Sorts!

I bought this K&Co calendar kit a while back and its only just been looked at again. I decorated the front as per instructions, but the inside I will finish decorating to my liking! Something to keep me occupied over the Christmas holidays!

Front Page

My Page for February

This is the photo of my little daughter Poppy! she is only a few months old (it was take 5th Jan '09 so she would have been about 17-18 weeks old) and having her first taste of food - Not sure she was that keen, but I LOVE this photo!!

Close up of the photo and images

This cutie is one of my favourites from the new Kit, she is just so cute!

Stampin' for the Weekend - Week 28

This week at Stampin' for the Weekend, the Team and our Guest Designers have put me to shame! I have no card this week as I am spending my time with my Parents.

After losing my Brother in September suddenly in a car crash, it put priorities in perspective. Since this happened, I've not dedicated a lot of time to crafting and blogging which is why you've probably not been visited by me as often as I usually would. I swear someone has stolen my Mojo!

I am around, but lurking in the back drop. I occasionally visit people from my Dash, but I have been bad and neglected so many of you, for this I am so sorry.

I hope once my head is in a better place I will be back and blogging properly, but for now, I'm only concentrating on fulfilling DT Duties as I made promises, and even with these I am struggling!

Please check out the Stampin' for the Weekend challenge this week. We'd love to see some Blue and Brown Projects!

The DT Call ends Midnight tonight, so if you were thinking about it, and haven't yet submitted a card, now would be the time to do it!

Kimmi xx

Stampin' for the Weekend DT card and reminder of DT Call out!

Good Morning Everyone!
Its Friday again which means its another challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend

This week me and the Girls would like to see a colour combo of Red, Green and Gold - This is a good  excuse to make another Christmas card!

Here is mine!

I've used this cute Sarah Kay image. The image is so sweet and was a joy to colour.

I coloured them with Copics adding some shadowing for the base

Added some Glossy Accents to the tree and some presents and also to the round Merry Christmas circles which were from a sheet of backing paper which I cut out, distressed and then glossed. I also added some Glamour Dust for the Girls cuff, collar and the trim of her coat. Papers were kindly sent to me in a swap with my lovely DT buddy Amy

This week we are being sponsored by Jill at The Hobby House.

Jill is offering a set of stamps and some fabulous silver charms (click on the links to see them and also to take a peek at the shop too)

Club Anime Sketch DT card - and a Guest Designer Call!!

I am so bad for being late with this card! I had a CT scan on Monday followed by a Night Shift and was planning on staying up to finish the card Tuesday morning when I got home from work, but as my other half had gone out and Poppy was having a sleep over at her Grand Parents house I kinda went to bed!! It was a rough night!

But here I am now, and I am so sorry for being late!

And here is my take on it, with a few extra photos for different views.

For this card I have used Christmas Tree Chick from In Style Stamps. I coloured her with Copics and added some Glamour Dust and some Glossy Accents for the baubles, canes, and the sentiment, ooo and also her little hair slides.
I have taken this opportunity when making this card to make it a DT Card for Bearly Mine Designs too. Donna has been really busy working on her house and creating some gorgeous festive papers called - Christmas Frolics Digi Set!

All for only £4!

That's amazing value for 50 assorted papers and inserts! They are all Digital and can be saved to your PC. If you take a look here you will see a slide show and if you like what you see and want to buy - just send Donna an email.
This Sketch Challenge will run until Dec 26th and all who enter will be concidered for a Guest Designer Spot for Club Anime!

Good Luck!

In Style Stamps - Holiday Ornament Blog Hop!

*Stampin' for the Weekend DT Card - Please scroll down!*
Welcome to the InStyle Stamps November blog hop!

If you have arrived here from Mary's blog your on the right track!! If you've come from your Dashboard, or just fancied visiting me and wanna join in the hop - hurry on over to the In Style Stamp Blog :D

You've seen some gorgeous projects so far so I'd like to share mine with you.

I've cheated a little with this one. I was meant to have three to show you, but two of the chocolate icicles have been eaten *blush*

I'm getting really excited as Christmas draws near! Only 28 days to go! Can you believe it!

Here I've used Kimi - isnt she just beautiful. Her sparkly wings are glamour dusted and her pale pink dress is a combination of three copic pens in the lightest pastel shades I had in my collection!

The silver paper I found in my old craft box and used it to decorate an already packaged chocolate covered icicle (Not sure if thats what they are, but they are pointy and silver and reminded me of Icicles).

I wrapped some white funky fibre round the top to keep the paper in place, and then wrapped the whole icicle in a pale pink ribbon to make it more decorative.

I cut our the oval by hand and layered Kimi on top, leaving just her wings and halo on the bottom layer!

I hope you've had fun along the hop, only a couple more of us to see, and your next stop is Genevieve!

I hope you've left the Design Team some lovely comments along the way, when you've finished the hop, be sure to go back to the beginning and vote on which one of us has inspired you most, leaving your name and blog details with good old Mr Linky!

You've got until 11:59pm (EST) on Sunday November 29th to enter! The winners will be announced on the In Style Stamps Blog the day after!

Thank you so much for stopping by !

Stampin' for the Weekend - Colour Combination

Hello Stampin' Friends!!

I am so sorry to have been a bad blogger of late. I've recently just returned to work and having to juggle work with looking after Poppy and spending time with my gorgeous Man time is escaping me really quickly!!!

This week at Stampin' for the Weekend we'd like to see a colour combination of Lilac and Silver!
Now I know we set these challenges, but boy did I struggle!!

This week our lovely Fiona is going to be sponsoring us (She is just too kind!)
Here is what she is offering the lucky winner:

Thank you again Fiona :D Lots of hugs and get well soon!!

For my card I've used this cutie form the new Magnolia Under the Mistletoe collection! (wish the Winter Club Kit would hurry up and arrive so I can play!!!)

I've coloured her with Copics and then added some Glossy Accents by Ranger.

I've used plain card stock and stamped some snow flakes from the WoJ Winter kit (Which I've still not used yet)
*shock horror and lots of blushing*

I hand drew the tag and cut it out carefully and then mounted my little Tilda on the Christmas Sack from last years collection. Added a ribbon for the middle of the card and another tiny bit of ribbon on the tag.

The gift card inside is for Waterstones (Actually spent it this morning on my gorgeous daughter - so will need a new one for this card hehe), and the stamped greeting is from a christmas set by Hot Off the Press!

We have two lovely guest designers with us this week - Lisa and Rosalien!! They've come up with some lovely ideas this week, so please do stop by and give em some love! The team is a little bare this week as we have a couple of members not feeling too good, so do visit them also, even if to just say hi!

Sketch time at Stampin' for the Weekend!

This weeks Challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend has been set my the fabulous Nancy! She has put together this fantastic Sketch for us to follow.

Nancy is also sponsoring this challenge and she has this gorgeous little Motivet Stamp lined up for the Lucky Winner!!

Doraline and Dexter under the Mistletoe
Too cute!!

I've kept my card fairly simple. I had the majority of the card made up, but last night when I wanted to colour my image - my colourless blender ran out... I panicked and was ready to bow out of this challenge, however, a quick trip to the craft store saw me come away with another 4 copic pens including the blender lol

We've got two lovely Guest Designers this week - Rosalien and Trish - Please check out their blogs and find out what they've created and how!

I've used papers that I got last year some time. I don't know who they are by as the front of the pad is missing.

Added some lace and flowers from stash, sentiment is computer generated.

A little close up of Christmas Morning Tilda from the Christmas 09 Collection Jolly/Snowy

Thank you so much for stopping by, any comments you leave are appreciated!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Club Anime - Colour Challenge!

Hello

Over at Club Anime there is a fabulous Colour Challenge

The colours are Salmon/Coral, Kiwi Green and Brown

I've used little Myron for this challenge, I was going to use Christmas Tree Chick, but I think Poppy wanted me to try something different as when I got home from work yesterday the half finished card was screwed up, shredded and half if it (mainly the embellishments) in the toilet - Oh Joy!

I've used Copics to colour this cute chappie in, and My Minds Eye paper.

Sentiment and red gems are from Papermania!

If you would like the chance to win a $20 spending voucher to spend on InStyle Stamps, visit the Club Anime Blog and follow the full instructions. You will have a month to create something cute (20th December is the dead line)...

Have Fun!

Its another Friday which means its another Challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend!!...

This week we have the very generous Heidi ...

...sponsoring us again with a $25 Shopping Voucher for the Simon Says Stamp Store!

This week the Team and I would like to see some BIG CELEBRATION cards and projects! This could be a 1st Birthday, 16th, 18th, 21st, 30th, etc or a Big Wedding Anniversary like a Ruby or Silver etc, you could also say that a Wedding or Christening is a BIG Celebration! So the choice is yours!
*********

Donna - one of the founders of Stampin' for the Weekend who left a little while ago to spend more time with her hubby and cute doggy Kody is going to be celebrating her 50th Birthday on Sunday. Its the same day as my dear Mum and also my gorgeous Nephew Dainjon too! (Its his 1st Birthday)!!

So - In honour of Donna's Birthday I made this

I've used 3 Magnolia Stamps - two from the So Yummy Collection and one from the Summer Collection (The little Tilda on the inside)

I've coloured them with Copics and added some highlights with the trusted Opaque Inkssentials Pen.
The papers are from Papermania - I bought a Goody Bag a while back and the papers were inside, the card stock, lace and flowers are from my Stash.

Just hope that Donna likes her card!

Please check out the Design Teams cards - Also - We have Benedicte with us again this week, and its Trish's first GD card for us this week, so please check out their blogs too!

Guest Designing for Copic Colour Challenge Today!

A little while ago, the Copic Colour Challenge Team, were looking for Guest Designers so I put my name down and here I am :D

I was meant to do a card in September but had to defer due to a bereavement :(

This weeks challenge is sponsored by Stamping Bella and Emily is offering $20 to spend on Stamping Bella products - How cool is that!!

But I'm here now and have had fun using these colours, they just scream Christmas at me!!

I bought and downloaded this cute CC Design called Nora the other day - She is one of the new November Releases! Isn't she sweet!

I obviously coloured her with copics, adding in a few other colours along the way for the shadowing and her hair.

I added some Glamour Mist for the snowflakes and around the bottoms of her boots, ooo and her sparkly wings too!

Just want to say thank you to the CCC Girls for asking me on board, and an extra thanks to Adele who's been emailing me when I've had any questions, and been very understanding of what happened in September when I lost my brother in a car accident - thanks hun! :)

Hope you can join in this week. Have fun and please, check out the CCC Design Team's work - I'm sure they've worked their socks off again this week!
