hAnglar Babee comes out to play!

My Mojo is not as it can be at the moment, but try as I might, I still get a card worth a blog post. So here goes!

This is the boy from the hAnglar sTanglar Babee set, one of my favourite sets and the set I've so far used the most.

Close up

I've used Bearly Mine Papers from the fairly new 'For the Boys' digital set. Fabulous papers for any male card, I went with the simple diamonds and plain blue. Having used Bearly Mine Papers and there being a challenge at the moment called Beautiful Babies, its only right that I enter this into the challenge over there.

I'm also entering this cutie into:
Lovely hAnglar only : Use your favourite stamp
Sketch Saturday : The sketch obviously
Stamping Scrapping : Anything goes

BMD papers from the 'For the Boys' Set which you can purchase here
Image coloured with copics
Papers highlighted with Crackle Paint Picket Fence for that added texture
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Sentiment from LOTV which I received in a Christmas Parcel :o)

Simple card for a brain that wont work this late at night. I'm off to bed now as I have to be up early for work. Thank you for stopping by, be sure to leave a comment and I'll fly by and visit you!

Happy Easter and Quick Update...

Quick post...

I've not dropped off the face of the earth (quite yet). My keyboard for my computer died and I've been waiting for a new one for a few days. I started to make a card at the weekend and was going to do a post on Monday but I've not managed to get the card completely finished.

I'm hoping that over the bank holiday weekend I can get it finished properly. My camera has also been on charge for about a week, but as soon as I turn the camera on, it dies.. I think I maybe shopping for a new battery for it this weekend.

Catch you all soon, I hope you all have a fabulous Easter!!

Music Saves My Soul - Her Morning Elegance

I've seen this logo around blog land for a while now, and never really realised what it was all about until I saw Marcea's post in my dashboard today.
Well, who knew that you crafters are all into your music too. Talented and exceptionally good ears all round!

So I'm sharing a song I like today. I've liked the song for a while, but never seen the video for it. So here it is:
I hope you like it just a fraction of what I do!
Enjoy

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge...

...this weeks theme is 'Spice it up'

Having not made a card for what seems like an eternity, I went for it. I printed out Rock Chick from the first digital collection released by Kenny K way back last year sometime in July/August.

Coloured with copics and then I had a nightmare trying to find papers I liked. I managed to find these Basic Grey ones, eventually, after going through lots of boxes and folders under my desk. They are from the 'Lemonade Collection' and one of my favourite collections by BG to date.

Sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and can be found here as part of the Amongst the Stars Sentiments. Layered on nestie stars cut with the bug. I made a border star by using two dies at the same time, and then layered them on top of each other.

Fairly simple card, one that didn't take too long to make and one which will find its way to a cousin of mine who is a minimal is more kinda' girl.

I'm back, but not sure for how long...

I've just found the spring kit from Magnolia under a pile of papers destined for recycling... Had I not been keen on taking the cellophane rappers off the magazines to put the paper bits into recycling, the kit may have made a journey to the recycling plant.

Well, as some of you may have already had your kit, or wanting from the kit, I'm selling most of mine. The only stamps from the kit I'm keeping is the wheelbarrow, the butterflies and the sentiments.
So if anyone is interested and fancies the stamps below, drop me a line at dragon_spirit19@hotmail.com, the stamps are unmounted and cut out, ready for you to do as you will.

Hope to be back soon with a card or two.. Just need to find some hours in the day to be able to sit and make.

Here's the stamps...
