Week 7 - 70's week at Stampin' for the Weekend!!

Welcome to Week Seven.

WOW - What a turn out for week 6, so many wonderful cards, it was really hard for Donna and I to make a decision for a winner, but we did. if you'd like to know who won, head on over to 'Stampin' for the Weekend'

We've gone back to the 70's this week at Stampin' for the Weekend and like last month, Donna has chosen 3 songs for you all to take inspiration from!
Myself and the team have had such good fun thinking up cards for this challenge - so don't forget to pay them some love too!

ALSO - We have two new designers joining us this week - Nancy and Sheila - so go pay them an extra special visit and congratulate them on joining us!

This weeks fabulous sponsor is Tracey from Fred She Said, who is offering one lucky winner a $25 gift voucher.

If you've never been to the Fred She Said Store, you are missing out! They have loads of fabulous downloads for you to print off and add to your cards and scrapbooking pages. From flowers to fabulous images! Head on over and have a look!

The songs that Donna and I would like you to draw inspiration from are :

Three Times a Lady ~ The Commodores

Tangled up in Blue ~ Bob Dylan

Seasons in the Sun - Terry Jacks

Please only take inspiration from the song title, please dont go downloading music, or raiding your cd collection (or your parents if you werent around in the 70's).

As you can probably guess, I've gone with Seasons in the Sun! I went for a nice summer card, with lemons and oranges for inspiration.

I bought Set 3 of the Gorjuss Girls on release day, and I havent really had a chance to ink them up as I didn't have any EZ Mount, this was quickly remedied and I have now got all my new stamps mounted!

So here she is, and I think she looks very sweet, ready for a dip in a pool!
Papers are from Designer Extreme Vol II and Papermanias Core'dinations textured card stock.

Here is a close up of this little girly...

For the inside, I have used an insert from the Designer Extreme Inserts Disc by Donna, from Bearly Mine. All the Inserts on this disc co-ordinate with Designer Extreme vols I and II. (Shhhh, I'l tell you a secret - Donna is currently working on a third disk! Watch this space!)

Recipe
Stamps: Sugar Nellie Gorguss Girl Set 3
Papers: Core'dinations textured card stock, Designer Extreme Vol II by Bearly Mine, Designer Extreme Inserts
Tools: Woodware corner rounder punch, L-Em punch for leaves, MakeMe Flower border and emboss punch
Embellies: Fred She Said printable flowers (polka dot variety)

Thank you for popping by :o)
