I'm not sure if my Easel card will qualify as its a bit Bluey/Purple hmmm...I didn't just stick to one colour!

and

A Spoon Full of Sugar would like to see cards with a Kitchen / Cooking theme - What better way to show this than Tilda collecting Blueberries and then making 'em into jam, Mmm mmm mmm, (also my first time in entering!).

I've used these gorgeous fall stamps again, this time a different two (well three as I used the Jam Jar too)

Blueberry Tilda
and Baking Tilda with Wooden Spoon

Love this one, she looks so cute with the spoon :D

~~~~~~~~~~
Soooo a little inspiration from little old me!
I started to make the card and then panicked when I realised that I hadn't made the ribbon a main embellishment. I was so stumped! I began playing with what I had left over from my Halloween Ribbons (Must buy more in preparation for next year!).
I have used Witch Lala and coloured her with Copics. I've given her some groovy green hair and funky green boots too! She looks ready for a party or a night of Trick and Treating!
Here are the Ribbons I've used to create a kind of flower! The cute button in the middle I've had for a while, but never had a use for.
And here is Lala close up!
To get some inspiration from the Design Team and the Guest Designers head on over to La-La Land Crafts Blog.
I am entering this card into a few challenges!
Just Magnolia 28 & Magnolia Down Under!
Over at Just Magnolia this week, they have a fabulous Sketch by Martine.
And over at Magnolia Down Under, the fabulous DT team have set the challenge to useDistressing!
I've been feeling a little guilty as I've had the Fall kit for some time now, plus some extras I bought which I liked from the set and I've NEVER inked them up until now! How bad is that... Since the fall kit came out, Magnolia have released the Spooky set and I believe the Christmas set is currently on Pre-Order!!
So I got this little cutie out and stamped her on some thick white card, and coloured her with Copics... I started colouring her pinny first in the yellows and for the life of me couldn't decide what other colour to use. It was going to be Purple, but - I'm pleased I went with Green!
I distressed the oval and also the yellow patterned paper, then inked both with Green Memento Ink.
Here is a little close up of Gorgeous Tilda!
(Apologies for the oval - its hand cut and not the best - MUST get me some more Nestabilities!)
Recipe:
Stamps: Tilda Pickin' Peaches and Recipe Card from Magnolia, Sentiment from WoJ.
Paper: Patterned paper from stash, Green and Yellow card from Core'dinations.
Embellies: Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Lace and Ribbon from Stash.
(I will be finishing the inside off with Peachy Tilda (the one with the leaves floating around her [raining leaves if you know what I mean] from the Yummy Tummy collection, so that the Sentiment on the front makes a little more sense!!)
********** UPDATE *********
Have just found a little more MoJo and finished doing the inside...
Doesnt look too bad for a first Easel type card!
Little Close up!
How the inside looks.
Thanks again for looking xx
Sunday Sketch and Stamp!
Over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp they have this fabulous sketch this week:
I decided to join in this challenge for the first time as my lovely DT buddie from Stampin' for the Weekend is Guest Designing for them for three months!
"Hi Vicki !!"
~~~~~~

I got this little sweet image called Christmas Fairy Holly from Mo Mannings site ages and ages ago and have only just got round to playing with it!

I coloured her with Copics, added lots of Glamour Dust!!! The fairy paper my good Friend Donna created for me when I showed her the image I'd coloured in so I had to use it on this card! I just LOVE it!
I've kept the card fairly simple and followed the sketch.
I'm not sure if the card is lacking something.
I may add some flowers at a later date before it gets sent
to a good home!

Thanks for Looking!

Whiff of Joy - Sketch by Heather

Over at WoJ Challenge blog this week, is a lovely Sketch by Heather!

I've used this Sketch three times for three different cards, using the newly released Santa Stamps! One of the cards I completely flipped the sketch in reverse!

Here are some up close photos of the Santa's!
The images were coloured with Copics, Greetings printed from PC, Charms from stash, Paper from yonks ago when I made Christmas cards two or three years back.

Thank for popping by!!

Friday Sketchers 75

Friday Sketchers have again come up trumps with a fabulous Sketch this week!!

I just loved it so I had to have a go!
The Sketch this week is by Claudia.

I've used this cute stamp which was kindly stamped out for me by a friend for me to have a play with - so I'm not sure where its from.

I've coloured them with copics and done some C-1 highlighting on the snowmen themselves, and added a little glitter. The papers are from my stash that I've had for about two years! Added some flowers which are also from stash in bottom corner!
I will add a sentiment to this card a little later on where my Watermark is on the main photo, but for now it will remain plain until I know who it is going to :D

Thanks for popping by!

I'm keeping with the Christmas/Winter theme this week and I've used Candy Cane Clover! Isn't she sweet! I love her little booties! Added my Sparkle to the Candy Cane - Not sure if it would be very edible with all that glitter but it looks good, hehe!

I've coloured her with Copics, and used some Papermania Card stock and Paper Stack I had lying around from last year! Added a little Charm of a Candy Cane and a little bow I tied!

I am entering this card for two challenges:

Guest Design Card for Crafty Cardmakers!

Hello everyone!

Vixy kindly asked me when I offered some help if I would like to be a Guest Designer for Crafty Cardmakers just before the challenge blog went live. Of course I had to think long and hard about it! and so here I am, and obviously I said yes! Well, I was never going to say No - was I hehe!! :)

This weeks challenge is Autumn Themed. So I have gone with browns, oranges, lefty greens and a rich red colour. Hopefully I have done the challenge justice!

I have used a Magnolia Fall 2007 Stamp and coloured her using Copics. I then stamped again and coloured and cut out some of the smaller flowers and layered them on top.

I have used Papers from the Bearly Mine Designer Extreme Vol III which were just perfect for this challenge! I matted them on to Papermania Textured Card Stock, had fun arranging them until I was happy, then stuck them down. I popped the image on top and thought the card was looking bare.

I had some pinky/red roses which came on wired stems, so I cut the heads off, I curled the green stems ready to be glued. I coloured and arranged a couple of skeleton leaves, then stuck a larger flowers down, followed by the roses and stems. Three red buttons for the side and a Papermania Sentiment.

Here is a little close up if the image - Not sure if you can make out the little leaves which I have Decoupaged, but I'm sure you get the idea :D

And one of the flower arrangement.

Thank you for popping by. I hope you have fun with the challenge - there are endless possibilities!

Check out the Design Teams cards for more inspiration :D

Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge 20

Good Friday Morning to you all!

This week we have a lovely Sketch for you by the Talented Amy who is my lovely Design Team Buddie!

Our sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy Stamps and the lovely Katharina is going to give one lucky crafter a fabulous Animal Party Stamp - Check out the Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge Blog to find out which stamp!

I've used Charlotte in Sledge for this card and coloured her and her little friend with Prisma Colour Pencils. I've used Papers from the Bearly Mine Designs - Designer Extreme Vol III Disc! I love these Christmas papers and you can colour co-ordinate them with the inserts too (I didn't have time to photograph the insert, but it was a lovely festive one - I wish I could take a photo but the cards been packaged up for my Mum to sell or give away as she feels fit)

A little close up of Charlotte!

I kept the card fairly simple and I was in two minds of doing it again, but Ran out of time! I found the image got a little lost so I know for next time!

Please check out the Design Teams cards and also - our two Guest Designers this week, Jerusha and Tracy!

As of Monday I will be back at work and I am unsure as to how much time I can give to card making on the whole. I may be around to make cards for fun, however, I will definitely be making cards for any Design Teams I am part of as its not in my nature to let people down!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
