Oooo eck - I am so sorry I was watching the Eurovision Song Contest and I forgot to schedule a post. Nevermind... I'm here now, and big Congrats to Germany. I had my bet on them with the other half, he thought it was going to be Denmark and it was close there for a while...
Well its my last week guest designing for Magnolia Down Under Challenges and this week the theme is FLOWERS!
I've not gone MAD with flowers, just added some larger ones than I normally would and I have to say a big thanks to Donna for them, and the lace. She kindly sent me some at Easter and I've only just got round to using them - Thanks hun!
I've used Papermania's Rose Garden papers, and Core'dinations card stock for layering.
I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks and layered her dress. Not sure if the photos show you that.
I added some Glossy accent to her head band on the flowers to give them a little shimmer. I also glamour dusted her petticoat and the trim around her neck and sleeves.
Thanks so much for supporting my guest design time with Magnolia Down Under.. A HUGE thank you to Kellie for inviting me, and another thank you to the MDU Girls - You are an inspiration to us all who love our Maggies! Make sure you pop over to see what the team have created this week!
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Stamp with Fun: Sketch
Creative Card Crew: Pink and Green
Stampin' for the Weekend: Post Pals - Amelia Grace C
I would have been playing along with this challenge anyway, but having stepped down as owner and given the blog to Sandie and Jan who are doing a marvellous job I thought I'd better show my support. You have until this coming Friday to create a card for a child on the Post Pals site - a card or letter from yourselves would mean a lot to them.
Send a card to a child - Make them smile!
