Hi everyone. Thank you for popping by my blog. I do hope you have fun with what we have instore for you this week.
This weeks challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend is going to be sponsored by Simon Says Stamp! The Prize is a $25 voucher that you can spend within the Simon Says Stamp store. OOOoooooo I could just do with a nice shopping spree.
So - Rock n Roll 60s, Whats that all about I hear you say!
This week, Donna has chosen three songs for us all to use as inspiration.
The song titles are :
A Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum
Time of the Season - Zombies
Please Mr. Postman - Marvelettes
I have gone with 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' and gone for a very calm and serene card using very pale but lovely colours. I inked up one of the Gorjuss Girls, I've fallen in love with them again! They are soooo easy to colour and because there are six in a set, you can use them for almost any occasion.
I coloured her in using Copics and then highlighted her with the Inkssentials pen.
I kept the card fairly simple. I used Nesties to cut out the circle and the scalloped circle.
Flower was from my stash and I layered it up, I think they may have been papermania. I also added a little charm which reads 'made for you'.
Here she is looking all cute and gorjuss! I have great difficulty colouring blond hair, so I'm not happy with this image completely.
I added a little dangling charm to fill the gap, and instead of running it form the brad in the centre of a flower, I chose to do it from the sentiment. Sentiment from Papermania.
I do hope you enjoy this challenge! We all had great fun coming up with different cards. The Stampin' Teams cards as you will agree when you've visited them (and I hope you do) are absolutely stunning! Lots of hard work this week from all involved, including our lovely Guest Designer Sandie, its her last week as our Guest Designer, and we've loved having her on the team! Please do have a hop on over to their blogs and see thier wonderful creations.
With that all said, have fun and enjoy!

I love how you've interpreted the song title Kimmi, and the layout of the card behind the image. Your coloring is lovely, done in soft pastels shades, and of course your wee dangly charm is so lovely, and great idea to hang it from the sentiment instead.
